Saman Mohammadi

Saman Mohammadi is a researcher in Petroleum Engineering at the University of Alberta. His work explores cyclic solvent injection to enhance heavy oil and bitumen recovery across the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin.
Saman has led several collaborative projects with major industry partners, including Imperial Oil, Cenovus Energy Inc., Teine Energy, and BASF. His research has produced peer-reviewed publications and earned recognition for innovations. He was awarded the Donald Lougheed Engineering Graduate Scholarship in 2024
